In our workshop both a sense of propriety, work ethics, and passion prevail. Here metal workers with a deep interest for their subject and for the qualities of the materials are working. We have skilled craftsmen with clever hands who can sense the strength and balance of the metal. And young passionate people are trained in the traditional craft methods to ensure that invaluable knowledge is not lost. As a modern workshop we combine know-how and our “delicate touch” of modern machinery to gain the best results and beautiful, uniform results and deliveries. On that note we ensure that we can supply metal solutions of a quality that draws on a 100 years development of machineries and 5000 years of craftsmen tradition.

Steel & Form consists of passionate people who are motivated to create beautiful and functional results. Everyone has a well-executed vocational education behind them as a blacksmith, industrial technician or constructor. And everyone is dedicated to jointly lifting the many exciting tasks we are given.

Here we love professional challenges. Having to create something we have not tried before gives us extra blood on the tooth. Whatever we need to work in brass, stainless steel, alm. steel, copper or aluminum, we are dedicated to creating solutions we can be proud of - and which at the same time create pride in our partners. We are experts in making metal solutions that work beautifully alone or in combination with, for example, wood, stone or glass.

We take pride in creating a workplace where it is nice and safe to be - and where there is room and opportunity for learning and development.

We see it as part of our job to train young blacksmiths and industrial technicians in the traditional craft techniques. That is why we especially attract apprentices with an interest in detail and finesse - young people who want to create unique solutions and sublime craftsmanship.

Creative minds

In our workshop co-workers combine production techniques such as CNC-controlled cutting, bending, rolling, welding, grinding and polishing with the concluding surface finishing. The surfaces must be pleasing to the touch. And our end result must be precise down to the smallest detail. Everything we do must make sense. That is why we always strive to create solutions that are most easy to produce and focus our efforts where it makes a difference. We call it due diligence, and it is your guarantee that we do not spend unnecessary time and energy on details that will never be seen nor felt anyway.

Modern machinery

In our workshop you will find a mixture of top modern equipment and good old machines that are still working. Some we have enabled to operate and produced new parts for ourselves, so that they run perfectly today. A single polisher machine – from last century – have we bought for 500 ddk only. It functions perfectly and is a daily reminder that good metal solutions are long lasting and that metal crafting has a long history.

On a more modern scale we have several CNC-machining stations where we mill metal parts based on 3D drawings. And since we to a great extend do specialized work, we often have to resort to making our own special tools for welding and the bending of metal.

Each day capable hands of our workshop are handling lathes, welding equipment, rolling mills, and different bending- and grinding machines. The result of our profound work always bears the imprint of the fact that we have a certain sense of how to combine machine power with exquisite crafting techniques. And during the process we never compromise with safety. All workshop labor is carried out responsibly - making use of the correct safety equipment.
